Lady Love |
Sam |
I had decided to go to the Footstool today.
On the way through the woods to the Footstool, past the Empty Hollow, I saw something I had never noticed before. Winter is a great time of discovery in the woods because all the leaves are gone, the weeds are shriveled, and what is usually hidden in the shadows is now open and bright. I saw a large tree that had fallen. Had it fallen over the summer or had I just missed it until now? It looked like a wish bone and I decided to sit in the fork of it.
Scooby |
now known as the the Love Seat with me. He stayed for a few scratches on his head and then took off on his own quest. Soon I had more four-legged visitors. First Princess one of the barn cats hopped up on the log near me. Not long after, Scooby came and climbed into my lap. As I started to write in my journal, Tommy came up the other fork in the log and tried to help me write. He was fascinated by the movement of my pen and tried to take it out my hand with his teeth.
Contemplation Rock |
In the Spirit God showed me a heart and then prompted me to open my eyes and see the heart. I was sitting in the V of the heart but I only saw half of the heart in the formation. "In the chambers of God's heart His love flows in, through, and out of us." The Lord says, "I will fill you with an abundance of Love that spills over to those around you." I found God's love today at the Love Seat. The Lord says, "I am always with you and my love is always there for you. Open your heart and let me fill you up, let me give you the infusion of my love from the chambers of my own heart into yours. The half of the heart that was missing was yours."
1 Corinthians 13: 1-3 (AMP)
"If I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love (that reasoning, intentional, spiritual devotion such [a]as is inspired by God’s love for and in us), I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
And if I have prophetic powers ([b]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), and understand all the secret truths and mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but have not love (God’s love in me) I am nothing (a useless nobody).
Even if I dole out all that I have [to the poor in providing] food, and if I surrender my body to be burned or [c]in order that I may glory, but have not love (God’s love in me), I gain nothing."
